Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Pitstop Tyre Services. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and the supply of our mobile tyre services. By booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Definitions

  1. We,” “us,” “our” means Pitstop Tyre Services ABN 59 663 222 366, trading as Pitstop Tyre Services.
  2. You,” “your” means the customer engaging our services or browsing this site.
  3. Services” means any mobile tyre fitting, repair, replacement, roadside assistance, re-grooving, wheel balancing, or other related services we offer.

2. Booking & Confirmation

  1. All bookings must be made via phone (0452 433 121), text message, email or online form.
  2. A booking is confirmed once we send you a text or email confirmation.
  3. You must provide accurate vehicle details, location and contact information.

3. Booking & Confirmation

  1. Our quoted prices include labour and, where applicable, the cost of tyres or parts.
  2. Prices are subject to change if your vehicle’s wheel size or service requirements differ from those provided at booking.
  3. Payment is due on completion of service. We accept cash, EFTPOS and major credit/debit cards.
  4. Any additional charges (e.g. after-hours call-out fee) will be advised before work begins.
  5. If no one is present at the service location when our technician arrives, or access to the vehicle is not possible, full prepayment is required before any further attendance. This ensures service continuity and avoids unnecessary follow-up or collection delays.

4. Emergency Call-Outs & Prepayment

  1. Emergency call-outs (including after-hours, roadside assistance, or urgent same-day requests) require full prepayment before dispatch.
  2. Payment must be made via EFTPOS, credit/debit card, or other approved electronic method at the time of booking.
  3. Work will only commence once payment has cleared.
  4. Emergency rates and call-out fees will be advised before payment is processed and are non-refundable once the technician has been dispatched, except where the service cannot be performed due to factors within our control.
  5. If our technician attends and the issue cannot be resolved due to circumstances outside our control (e.g. inaccessible location, unsafe conditions, incorrect tyre details), the prepayment covers the call-out and assessment time.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  1. You may cancel or reschedule your booking up to 2 hours before the scheduled time without fee.
  2. Cancellations within 2 hours or “no-shows” incur a call-out fee of $50.
  3. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule due to adverse weather, safety concerns, or mechanical issues. In that event, we’ll notify you as soon as possible and arrange a new time.

6. Your Obligations & Safety

  1. You must ensure safe and legal access to your vehicle (e.g. parking space, lighting).
  2. You warrant that you are the vehicle owner or have authority to authorise work.
  3. You must remove all personal items from the work area. We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal property.

7. Warranty & Liability

  1. We warrant our workmanship for 90 days or 2,000 km (whichever comes first).
  2. Tyres supplied carry the manufacturer’s warranty.
  3. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any loss or damage arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for those services.

8. Intellectual Property

All text, images, logos and design on this website are owned or licensed by us. You may not reproduce or use them without our written permission.

10. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control (e.g. severe weather, natural disaster, traffic accidents).

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any dispute must be brought in the courts of Melbourne.
